Virgin White
Schelli Smith Cover Art by author and artist, Jacqueline Druga-Marchetti THE BOOK Virgin white is an image of female Aryan perfection on her white supremacist website; all the better to lure men into her black and white home of secrets and unleashed rage. SUMMARY
Chelsea Marie Graham is a beautiful twenty five year old woman with a bright future, a shameful past, and a deadly secret. When her mother dies of cancer, it proves to be more than the young woman can bear. She has an emotional and mental breakdown that takes her six months to recover. Even then, she has to be placed on medication for the rest of her life. However, after a year of her loving aunt's supervision and her medication Chelsea decides she has had enough and that all she really needs is a change of scenery. So she leaves Milwaukee her hometown and takes up roots in Lake Providence Louisiana, discontinuing her medication in the process, with disastrous consequences. Thus it is that in this sleepy little town that Virgin White is born. Virgin White heads one of the fastest growing white supremacist groups on the Internet, But all is not what it seems, for in actuality The Women For Purity Website is really a front for Chelsea's more sinister deeds. And so it is that before Chelsea realizes what has happened, she finds herself caught in a world of violence and deception. Trapped she sees no way out except to continue the course she has started until God sees fit to release her from her calling.... THE AUTHOR
Well, she says that there's really not much to tell... Schelli Smith, born, raised and currently residing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is happily married and the proud mother of five wonderful children. And although finally accomplishing her life-long goal of becoming a writer, she feels that true pride cannot be measured by traditional standards of academics, but lies in the heartfelt satisfaction that can only come from deep personal accomplishments. Her belief in the never failing human spirit, and in the ability of mankind to change, grow, and to embrace new things, is what inspired her to write this novel. Editor's Note: Schelli has written a richly entertaining, though macabre story that contains a stunning message about the price we humans pay for our intolerances and hatreds.
