Swamp YankeesJoyce Keller Walsh THE BOOK Swamp Yankees, the sequel to Juckets, is the second volume of The Pittsley Chronicles-the fictional New England setting comparable to Faulkner's Yoknapatawpha County. While Adam Sabeski is engaged in preventing his Swamp Yankee friend, Cutter, from seceding from the rural town of Pittsley and bringing the entire government down on his head, psychologist Julia Arnault is trying to solve a 20-year-old murder. Desperate to help her suicidal patient, Julia steps outside the boundaries of her office to investigate her patient's history, thereby defying her supervisor, risking her job, clashing with Adam, and jeopardizing her own life.
