cover art Reilly—Running Full Circle
Amber Jo Illsley
Illustrated Cartoons by Christopher Lee Webster

THE BOOK

This book should appeal to all age groups. Reilly - Running Full Circle by Amber Jo Illsley includes delightful cartoon drawings by Greymouth (West Coast, South Island, NZ) artist Christopher Lee Webster, and cat poetry by the author.

The book is written mainly from the woman's point of view, but Reilly has his own many and varied points of view, often forcibly put across! He is chauvinistic to the nth degree, yet shows a sweet and loving side…mainly due to a hidden agenda. Other agendas, not so hidden are there too. Reilly has an ongoing desire to 'get back' at the human race, and to enjoy himself as much as he can while doing so.

If you have a penchant for humor, poetry and/or an easy read, then Reilly - Running Full Circle should be right up your cat-alley!

THE AUTHOR

Amber Jo Illsley is a former freelance journalist who lives in New Zealand's South Island. She recently gave up journalism after 12 years, because it 'wasn't creative enough', to concentrate on the completion of several novels and beginning new novels. All have ripples of humour prancing through them. A keen supporter of the rights for animals, the author enjoys all of God's creatures - but especially cats.

Now living in Christchurch on the South Island's East Coast, the author is a country girl at heart and is living in the city, as she puts it: 'only as a means to an end'.
