Cricket and the Missing Ballet ShoesIrene Zerebko THE BOOK Author's note Although the Cricket Adventure Series will feature a Cardigan Corgi as the main character inspired by the author's own Millie, it is not intended to detract in any way from the other beautiful Welsh breeds with whom Cricket will interact during her globe trotting experiences. In Cricket's future travels the reader will find his or her favorite breed featured as an integral part in some of Cricket's unending schemes. The personality and versatility of the Welsh breeds gave the author great opportunity to include them in the Cricket Adventures. This episode picks up a new Cricket adventure where the first one endsCricket and the Vicar's Stolen Pipe... Ian gets an assignment to photograph the Kirov's Prima Ballerina in St. Petersburg. He becomes infatuated and prepares to ask for her hand in marriage. Disaster strikes when the new ballet shoes are missing.Cricket is accused of theft and averts a near fatal accident. On the way home they stop in Wales where both find meaning to their lives.
